The aluminum is sourced from discarded car radiators and single-use beverage cans, materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. Simpli Simbi collects scrap aluminum from various locations across Zimbabwe, committing to the recycling process and environmental conservation. 

Each piece from Simpli Simbi begins as a unique, hand-carved original, which is then cast in sand. Molten aluminum is poured into these molds and allowed to cool. The resulting piece undergoes cutting and polishing to enhance its character and functionality. Final fittings and thorough cleaning reveal the beauty of each item, making it ready for your enjoyment. This energy-efficient process requires minimal water and electricity, and by using recycled aluminum, Simpli Simbi strengthens its commitment to preserving the environment. The end products are handcrafted, lightweight, resistant to tarnishing and rust, and showcase the artistry of Zimbabwean craftsmen.
